At exactly 3:50 PM, the entire delegation of FYEG together with other youth delegates at COP 15 froze for 350 seconds to symbolize the 350 campaign!

Delegates from the FYEG, protesting in the Bella Center
Hundreds of delegates pass every minutes through the Main Dining area near the Plenary entrance, but today, things slowed down just a bit as party delegates, journalists as well as other observers, stopped to notice what was happening around them.
Dismayed at the ‘glacial’ pace of negotiations, youth from across the world call for a greater sense of urgency at COP15. This morning’s announcement by the EU is ‘too little, too late’ to prevent dangerous climate change and the EU must increase their emissions target to a 40% cut next week if they want to be real climate leaders in Copenhagen.
We must freeze deforestation, freeze and reduce emissions and keep the ice frozen, but to do any of this parties at COP15 must unfreeze negotiations. Youth support the ambitious proposals of the small island states and call for a legally binding outcome that is fair and based on the best science.
