Just now the biggest advocate to get Climate Change and Global Warming recognized by public opinion and the receiver of the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts stated that the COP15 should only be a body that leads to a fair ambitious binding agreement in Mexico where the COP16 will take place.

The Swiss position on the COP15 negotiations is suspended to the EU strategy. They will follow the concessions made by the EU, but not go beyond on their own initiative.

Since the first COP in 1995 in Berlin, civil society has been associated with the negotiation process as observers. But this year, in Copenhagen, the UNFCC secretary wants to kick civil society out.
